By not removing your old roof before having a new roof system installed is likely to be detrimental to the life expectancy of your new roof and structure, regardless of materials being installed. Our experience in the roofing industry has taught us that a large majority of roofing systems that are removed reveal issues needing to be addressed before a new roof system is to be installed.

These problems range from basic to comprehensive. In almost every case, you may have had no knowledge of any issue and it was undetectable from a professional inspection of the old system. It’s not until the old roof system is completely removed that issues are revealed.
